Collection of General Information When Visiting Our Website
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected through a cookie. This information (server log files) may include the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, and similar data. This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.
Such information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the content of websites requested by you and is automatically generated when using the Internet. It is processed for the following purposes in particular:
Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website,
Ensuring smooth use of our website,
Evaluation of system security and stability, and
For other administrative purposes.
The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest for the aforementioned purposes. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your identity. The recipients of the data are only the controller and, where applicable, processors.
Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically analyzed by us to optimize our website and the underlying technology.
Cookies
Like many other websites, we also use “cookies.” Cookies are small text files transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically provides us with certain data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and your internet connection.
Cookies cannot be used to run programs or transmit viruses to a computer. The information contained in cookies helps us facilitate navigation and ensure the correct display of our webpages.
Under no circumstances will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
Of course, you can view our website without cookies in principle. Internet browsers are generally set to accept cookies automatically. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time through your browser settings. Please use your browser’s help functions to learn how to change these settings. Please note that some features of our website may not function properly if you disable cookies.
Provision of Paid Services
To provide paid services, we may request additional data, such as payment details, in order to process your order. We store this data in our systems until the legally required retention periods have expired.
SSL Encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g., SSL) via HTTPS.
Contact Form
If you contact us by email or contact form regarding any questions, you voluntarily give us your consent for the purpose of contacting you. For this, a valid email address is required to assign and respond to your inquiry. Providing additional data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and any follow-up questions. After your inquiry has been dealt with, personal data will be automatically deleted.
Use of Script Libraries (Google Web Fonts)
To ensure the correct and visually appealing display of our content across different browsers, we use script and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid repeated loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or blocks access, content will be displayed in a standard font.
Calling script or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible—though currently unclear—whether and for what purposes the operator collects data.
The privacy policy of Google, the operator of the library, can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Use of Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about the use of the map functions by visitors. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in the Google Privacy Policy. There, you can also change your personal privacy settings in the Privacy Center.
Detailed instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products can be found there as well.
Embedded YouTube Videos
Some of our webpages include embedded YouTube videos. The operator of the relevant plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with a YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is thereby informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your browsing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting the page.
When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ads program will also not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube stores non-personal usage information in other cookies as well. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.
More information on data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at:
https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services, e.g., when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
