Centre for people who want to work with people, animals and nature
Our vision
Our association’s vision is to create, promote and nurture space for living freely in harmony with people, animals and nature. Our work is based on equal coexistence in love, harmony, health, well-being and complete peace.
We support people, animals and nature
frei.sein.leben. promotes all areas of everyday life for people, animals and nature using methods, means and ways that are in line with the association’s principles. We want to remind people of the importance of community and be a meeting place for intergenerational encounters.
Our inspiration
Our inspiration comes from nature, and we combine the tried and tested with the modern.
‘The most important ethical decision is to take responsibility for our own lives and those of our descendants. And to do so NOW.’ (according to Bill Mollison, 1994)
Our Values & Our Mission

We believe in the power of genuine encounters, empathetic listening and mutual support.
We love the nature

Freedom & personal responsibility
Everyone is free to follow their own path here – guided by mindfulness and responsibility.
Sustainability & self-sufficiency
We strive for independence, not isolation – for clarity, not dogma.
Free learning & development
With us, learning happens outdoors, with all the senses, at your own pace.

Nina
Honorary President
I am Nina, a happy mother and wife. I love people, animals and nature. My original profession is civil engineer. However, my interests and passions are much broader, and I have turned my attention to the fields of psychology and energy work. Added to this is my strong connection to animals. Horses, dogs and rabbits have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and it has always been my vision to enable animals to live in a manner appropriate to their species. Since becoming a mum, my life has been turned upside down once again. I have been able to rethink things. Away from education, towards support, needs orientation and new educational paths.
Michael
1st Vice-President (honorary position)
I’m Michael, a happy dad and husband. I love inventing, discovering and making things. It gives me great pleasure when things work, and I enjoy going through these processes. Like most men, I used to work in the construction industry. But I don’t want to limit myself to just one field of activity. I enjoy being in nature and surrounded by people and animals, and I am a practical person in almost all areas of craftsmanship. For me, craftsmanship also includes cooking and baking. I love being active with my hands and my head and finding solutions. I enthusiastically pass on my knowledge and skills to young people and children.
Josephine
2nd Vice-President (honorary position)
My name is Josephine and my calling lies in naturopathy and yoga. I specialise in a holistic approach to health and well-being. My goal is to bring the body, mind and soul into harmony. My journey began with a conventional medical education and led me to naturopathy, pain, yoga and trauma therapy, as well as osteopathy. Since then, I have continued to learn and am always interested in gaining new insights. I enjoy a natural life in harmonious coexistence with people, animals and nature. I love being in the garden, in the forest and in the meadow, with my dog as my faithful companion by my side.
Our association in numbers
Where frei.sein.leben. is at home
A diverse habitat is being created on an area of around eight hectares – for people, animals, plants and ideas.
We live with nature, not alongside it. Our animals are part of us: endangered species that not only find protection here, but also contribute to the whole.
There are retreats, parking spaces for campers, a small forest area with an adventure trail, a communal area, a vegetable field – and above all, plenty of space to breathe.
Our vision: a place where you don’t have to function – but can just be.
